The EMEA Xero Awards are a highlight in the accounting world’s calendar. And in a difficult year when so many accountants have gone above and beyond for their clients, to be nominated is a real honour that needs celebrating.
So we were thrilled to see so many of Fathom's EMEA customers make the prestigious shortlist, against some very stiff competition. Manchester-based Berg & Williams are in the running for Small Firm of the Year, while DL Accounts are nominated in the Mid-Sized Firm category.

In the Large Firm of the Year we have not one but two fans of Fathom, Shorts and UHY Hacker Young Manchester. And ‘the double’ is repeated in the Total Xero Awards with our friends DL Accounts again as well as Thorne Widgery.

As we’ve discussed, we’re growing Fathom’s presence in South Africa, so we’re delighted to see the efforts of Iridium Business Solutions recognised too.

Thank you to everyone who entered the awards this year. We love working with so many amazing partners. 🥂https://t.co/ONZjyb7liD pic.twitter.com/nnPNtW4iLs
There are also two new award categories that will be judged on the night. These have been added in recognition of the additional challenges that the COVID pandemic has imposed and amazing efforts those in the Xero community have gone to.
The People’s Choice Award lets clients show their appreciation and nominate their Xero accountant, while the Community Impact Award will go to a firm that has gone above and beyond to support people during the crisis.
The awards take place - virtually - on 3 March 2021, and we’ll be there, cheering on all the above firms. In the meantime, we wish them all the very best of luck.
