Get up to speed with the latest Fathom product news. Here’s a quick wrap-up of the features we’ve recently released.
Greater flexibility for displaying results in trend charts
Want to show the components of Cost of Sales or Expenses while comparing to the overall budget? Have you added a new revenue stream and want to show how new revenue contributes to the gross or operating profit margin?
Fathom now enables you to overlay line graphs on a stacked bar or area chart.
The additional flexibility enables you to show how components contribute to a whole with a stacked bar or area chart; while using a line graph to display more subtle changes in related results over time.
When editing a Trend chart in a custom Fathom report, check the option to ‘Stack results’. If you’ve chosen to display results as line graphs with bar or area graphs, then only the bar or area results will be stacked.
Easier sharing of charts
As part of our October 2022 product updates, we made it easier to share custom KPI tables and financial statements across companies. We’ve now extended this enhanced sharing functionality to Key Number and Pie charts.
If you configure a Pie or Key Number chart to display an account or custom KPI, then the chart will still display when the report is shared with another company. Fathom will match accounts by name and match custom KPIs that have been added to the KPI Library.
This enhanced sharing makes it easier to create a standardised report template to use with several companies in your Fathom organisation.
