North America's biggest conference for accounting professionals and QuickBooks partners lands in Las Vegas next month. Read on to learn more about what to expect from QuickBooks Connect this year.
The premier event on the QuickBooks calendar is set to live up to its reputation as one of the biggest and best industry events in the world in 2023. It will be a sold-out crowd that descends upon ARIA Las Vegas for three days of learning, growth and connection from November 13-15.

Conferences are always a whirlwind experience, in Las Vegas no less! Making a plan (and sticking to it) will be crucial for making the most of your time over the jam-packed three-day schedule. This includes planning for adequate downtime. Don’t feel like you must attend every session; it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

With so much to see, it’s also worth planning a shortlist of the QuickBooks app exhibitors you want to chat with while you’re there (this absolutely includes stopping by the Fathom team to say hello). Multi-day conferences can be rewarding but utterly exhausting by the end. Combined with the amount of merchandise you’re likely to pick up (we recommend only taking what merch you’ll actually find useful), it’s a smart idea to only pack the essentials when heading off for the day. This includes things like wearing comfortable shoes, bringing a fully charged phone, notepad and pen, business cards, water bottle, and perhaps a few healthy snacks to keep your energy sustained and your mind switched on.
Carrying excess weight around in your bag all day can be a drain; if in doubt, leave it out.
With in-person events well and truly back to normal post-covid, don’t take the opportunity for face-to-face networking for granted! Often, the real value we take away from conferences comes from the connections we make. Most people are there for the same thing; to meet people and learn from the sharing of ideas. So put on a friendly face and don’t be afraid to say hi to those you’re sharing the conference hall with.
